BA in Hebrew language and culture from University of Amsterdam. I teach Modern and Biblical Hebrew mostly private lessons at my home in Amsterdam. My working life evolves around Jewish education, which gives the lessons an extra dimension. Language = culture.
Experience
Teaching is sharing ! Sharing is caring ! I like to work with children and adults in many different settings. I have a background in social work and have been teaching Jewish studies and working in the Jewish Museum of Amsterdam for many years. Although I am not a native speaker, my students like the fact that I have learned Hebrew from scratch, just like them and am able to explain grammar in Dutch or English. I go to Israel a lot to brush up on the latest idioms.
