Experience
I have recently graduated from the University of Oxford with a First Class degree in Musicology and am currently undertaking my MA in Musicology at the University of Amsterdam. Since a music degree at Oxford is entirely academically centred, rather than practical (it involves a large amount of history, philosophy and sociology) I would be very happy to tutor not only in Music (at any level), but also essay writing skills in any humanities capacity. Furthermore, I am happy to assist university applications - particularly to UK Russell group universities and Oxbridge (particularly the interview prep needed for this application) in any humanities subject. As an extremely pedagogical field, I am used to teaching in a musical capacity and have worked at a music school for children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder, an experience which taught me how important it is to think outside the box and react to each individual student's particular needs. I am committed to working with students to ensure they truly understand their studies rather than lecturing them - a valuable advantage of 1-to-1 learning.
