Experience
Being "in love" with Physics & Mathematics and enjoying to share my passion and knowledge about it, I have started tutoring since I enrolled at the University at the age of 18. For more than 20 years I have tutored/coached High and Middle School students in the field of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics while I also prepared them for University Entrance Examinations. As a Doctoral Candidate in the University of Amsterdam I got the opportunity to teach also university students. My tasks included preparing course material, tutorials (werkcolleges), and exams, correcting student’s assignments and exams, providing advice to the students regarding homework and supervising their written examinations. Later I worked as a Physics & Mathematics Teacher for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme (DP) in the International School of Almere (ISA), the American International School of Rotterdam (AISR) and in the Holland International Study Center of StudyGroup. I have experience with international education in Physics and Mathematics, namely those of the IB and the IGCSE curriculums. Currently, I am a University Lecturer (Universitair Docent) at the Technical University of Eindhoven (TU/e), in the Mathematics & Computer Science Department. I teach Bachelor's and Master's students of the Applied Mathematics program, as well as various Engineering programs of the TU/e.
