Hey there! I'm Kevin, I was born in France and have lived in 6 different countries in my life. I speak English, French, and Mandarin Chinese. In 2016, I obtained my Bachelor's of Science in Engineering Mechanics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, one of the top American universities for engineering. I plan on attending graduate school in the future to obtain a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience
I have over 2 years of tutoring experience. I tutored for the engineering department at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for the CARE program, the Center for Academic Resources in Engineering. I tutored a number of classes, including calculus, Newtonian physics, differential equations, thermodynamics, etc... I have also tutored a wide variety of topics both online and in person. My GRE score is 162 quantitative and 166 verbal. I have a patient personality coupled with a desire to be thorough, which is a perfect combination to explain mathematics and science concepts to anyone of any age. I also am well-spoken, and easy to talk to. I believe a kind approach with positive reinforcement maximizes learning potential.
