Experience
3 years teaching experience in East London. During this time, taught English in local comprehensives, in which the majority of pupils spoke English as a second or third language. Responsible for planning lessons and schemes of work, overseeing alternative resource provision (ARP) classes, and educational research as a delegate to the Loxford Schools Trust Research Group. I am an experienced teacher of IELTS English who has worked for two years with the University of Amsterdam business school. Over that time, I have prepared foundation year international students to join English-speaking courses at undergraduate level. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) awarded after completing PGCE. As such I am qualified to teach all age groups. English literature BA hons, first class. E. Arthur Williams Award for Excellence in English, 2014 & 2015.

Hobbies
I am extremely passionate about literature and culture - ranging from contemporary TV and music to classical theatre and opera. I am a strong believer that all art and culture is worth critical appreciation and that children should be engendered with this same sense of wonder and awareness. In my spare time I play video and board games, practice creative writing and watch my partner on stage at the Nationale Opera!
