I've recently obtained my Research Master in International Development Studies at the University of Amsterdam (2018-2020). My focus was on education and education reform. I also obtained a double Bachelor in Psychology and Anthropology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (2010-2014). During these studies I learned about different learning styles and stages of development.
Experience
I have been teaching English as a foreign language to students in China via an online learning platform for three years. I worked as an English teacher for students in Kyrgyzstan for 2 years (2015-2017) where I also organized English clubs and English test preparation workshops. I was a conversational English tutor for international college students, graduate students, as well as primary school students (2011-2015). I want to be your tutor to help you improve your English language skills and build your confidence in using the English language.

I am interested in travel because I like connecting with and learning from people around the world. I'm from the U.S. and I've lived in India, Kyrgyzstan, and now the Netherlands. I like outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, snorkeling, etc. I also enjoy cooking, art, and music. I like to visit the parks and many museums in Amsterdam whenever I get the chance.
