Experience
I am an experienced teacher across a range of subjects, teaching students of all ages and abilities in a variety of group and one-to-one settings. For the last three years, I have taught students at all levels of the English national curriculum, as well as adult learners, in London. I am fully qualified as a teacher of EFL, having received the Trinity Cert. TESOL after finishing school. I have taught English as a foreign language in schools in both the UK and abroad. I started teaching privately in my second year at university and currently teach Mandarin and Japanese to primary, secondary and adult-learner students. As of this year, my students have achieved 100% A/A* grades in British GCSE and A Level exams. I have considerable experience devising and implementing my own syllabi (something I also greatly enjoy!) to cater for the diverse needs of my students - particularly younger learners. I have developed my own games and programmes of study for teaching East Asian languages to young children. I have very recently moved to Amsterdam and am keen to begin finding new students locally!
