I grew up in California and spent a lot of time outdoors hiking, camping, and going to the lake with my family in the summer. I recently moved to Amsterdam for work and I'm enjoying going for long bike rides along the Amstel and through the parks nearby. I live with my husband and 2 cats and enjoy having quiet time at home with them, sometimes playing Nintendo with my husband who enjoys video games. I also enjoy having friends over for dinner and cooking something new for them. I am missing the Mexican cuisine from southern California, so I recently learned how to make really good enchiladas with a homemade sauce. I was a very studious child and my appetite for learning has never gone away - I'm always reading something or learning something new. When I'm done with my day job working in Strategic Finance, I pick up things I'm interested in. I'm currently reading "No Rules Rules", the book that the Netflix CEO just released and I'm also studying wine in preparation for a sommelier certification exam in January.
