1) Master degree in marine environmental sciences from an italin university(110/110 cum laude, first class degree) this degree consisted in 6 years investigated many scientific topics (math, physics, chemistry, biology, ecology, oceanography) followed by a one year stage in a marine botany lab. 2) PhD obtained in 2009 from the University of Southampton (UK) in marine biogeochemistry: this PhD provided me with a wide knowledge of biogeochemical (nutrients and trace metal) cycling in seawater as well as microbial degradation of organic matter. 3)10 years postdoctoral experience as researcher in marine microbiology and biogeochemistry. 16 papers published in peer-reviewed scientific journals.
Experience
I started tutoring students in math and chemistry when I was student back in Italy. I have been living in Australia for 2 years where I also tutored 3 high school students (chemistry) and 2 university students (organic chemistry and general microbiology). As a scientist I have a wide research experience in marine microbiology and biogeochemistry and published 16 articles on international journal, 13 of which with me as first author.
