Education

I am a british woman, I completed 13 GCSEs and I received a 32 point score for my International Baccalaureate in 2012. I would be comfortable teaching English, Geography and Psychology SL. I currently study a Bsc Population and Geography at Southampton University in the UK, but I am doing the first term of my third year in Amsterdam and would like to help others and become a tutor!

Experience

I have tutored two 16 year old boys in English, Biology, Chemistry and Geography twice weekly for two months before their final high school exams. I was Deputy Head Girl at my high school, which means I have a lot of experience being a mentor to others in an educational environment. I am well spoken and responsible. I am friendly and patient and a very positive person generally. I have had one or more part time jobs since I was 15, which means I know the importance of hard work, I am reliable and I am very willing to help others.

Hobbies

I love to read, I love to visit museums and art galleries. To relax I like to watch informative documentaries. I try to always have at least one part-time job, because I love to travel; I have been to 20 different countries, and I speak English and Afrikaans fluently, and French to an intermediate level. I am really active and I love to run and swim. I am always willing to chat, and I would definitely be willing to have an interview or trial session with you if you are interested in me as your tutor. If you choose me as your tutor, you will get someone who will do her best to allow you to do your best. I will be patient, and positive. I understand what it is like to struggle with academics sometimes, and I will be able to relate to you, and think of creative ways to further your understanding and make the work more interesting to you.
