Experience
Currently I am tutoring a post doctorate student from Turkey, specialized in geology. My work with her has involved speaking exercises as well as extensive work on her written English. Currently, we are working together on a research paper that she intends to publish in a journal by the end of April. In the meantime we also worked on creative writing, as she is also writing a book. Part of my internship this summer involved tutoring English to a 17 year old intermediate level student. I also shortly worked for an online tutoring company called BiboGo international, which mainly tutors English to Japanese students (beginner, intermediate, advanced). My SAT scores for Critical Reading and Writing were above 650 each. I enjoy tutoring due to the gratifying nature of the work, especially with students in which the progress can be seen rapidly, showing that their progress was not due to a lack of ability, but rather due to a lack of proper education.
