Experience
Since arriving in Amsterdam in September 2016, I have offered one-to-one flexible and efficient English tutoring to people of varying ages and abilities. This includes: a 21 year old Italian man who wanted to improve his conversation through one to one lessons; a 13 year old boy who needed help bringing English literature to life; two 5 year old girls whose parents wanted them to learn English in a fun and flexible way. It has been great to watch people improve in confidence and ability. I am 25 years old and from the UK. I came to Amsterdam last year to continue with my studies in a masters programme at the UvA. I recently returned from three months fieldwork in Uganda where I conducted an independent research project. Prior to that, I have four years client facing experience in fast-paced London consultancies.
