I specialise in Modern History - especially American History along with Sociology and English (reading, writing and literature). Have taken 2 years of environmental management. 8+ years experience with graphic design - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Cinema 4D + video editing Premiere, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Da Vinci Resolve. Hobbies

Born in New Hampshire, raised in Istanbul, went to an international school and now live in Amsterdam. I've travelled a lot, meeting many interesting people along the way yet, children are my favourite to interact with. I've learnt a lot from learning in school myself and feel that I understand why children may not be understanding or learning something at school 'properly'. I have a very methodical approach in teaching. Often times teachers say "learn this, just know it, you don't need to understand it" yet I believe it's crucial to explain why something is the way it is in order for a child to fully comprehend a topic. If one understands the dynamics of a subject, learning it won't be as hard. I'm very fun, empathic towards children and feel that I am a good teacher, especially with topics I enjoy learning - I teach them with passion.
